In shared global security self-interest, perhaps a coalition of India, USA, Pakistan, UK and others (some EU nations, perhaps even Russia would like to display itself in a positive light) with a UN mandate for Afghanistan to be designated a Global Protectorate aimed at saving 50%+ of Afghans (women and girls) from enslavement, would be a not so far fetched ethical action.
