Exceptionalism

The claim of Human Exceptionalism is particularly tiresome when accompanied by claims of humility.
[Human exceptionalism: The view (paradigm) that humans are different from all other organisms, all human behaviour is controlled by culture and free will, and all problems can be solved by human ingenuity and technology.
Anthropocentrism: The ethical belief that humans alone possess intrinsic value. In contradistinction, all other beings hold value only in their ability to serve humans, or in their instrumental value.]

The Big Question

Without other lifeforms we couldn't survive; but what use to those lifeforms are we?
Instead of "Why are we here?" ask, "Of what use are humans?"
Has there been a problem not affecting the Human Race that the human race has solved but didn't cause?

God has Free Will
is Perfect
so could have made
designed created
Perfection
Chose to make a Human Race of imperfection he can threaten
punish
watch
as they
threaten, hurt, wound, kill & feed on one another for His
entertainment
Worship?
Respect?
I have more self-respect than that
